Director of Rugby Steps Down

By Becky Naylor

As a volunteer run club its never easy to give up your position. Today Ian Hassall has formally stepped down from his role in the club.

Ian has provided this statement regarding his decision to step down from his role at the club.

Dear All
It is with a lot of contemplation that I have made the decision to step down from my role at the club, there is never an easy time to do it but I feel if done now someone can transition in before the end of this season and be ready to implement their ideas going into next.

I would like to thank all volunteers and coaches/players that have supported me in the last four and half years and wish the club well for the rest of this season and moving forward.

I will obviously still be coming down to the club and will again be helping to run the beer festival

Yours sincerely
Hass

Ian will be very much missed in his role as Director of Rugby and as a Senior coach, and the club would like to thank him for his tireless service during his time in this leadership position in the club. We hope you enjoy having your evenings and weekends back!
