Ben Buckley at age 17 was recently selected in the backs thus following in the footsteps of his father Jim and Grandfather John, both still active members of the club.

Jim Buckley made his first appearance in the senior side in 1986 aged 18, and went on to captain the club in 2000. Grandfather John Buckley played in the mid-1960s making occasional appearances in the first team and captaining the Hornblowers in 1965. He also served as Club President from 2000 to 2002.
