Ripon RUFC has successfully retained the prestigious RFU Club Accreditation status, first awarded in 2013.

The accolade is shared by all the volunteers at Mallorie Park who have been responsible for the club achieving the demanding quality benchmarks put in place by the sport’s governing body. There is a huge amount of work that happens behind the scenes to maintain the quality that this accreditation sets out.

The Club Accreditation scheme is based upon the six Key Drivers identified as crucial to a strong club:
1. Retaining & Developing Players
2. Recruiting New Players
3. Recruiting & Retaining High Quality Coaches, Volunteers & Referees
4. Effective & Efficient Facilities
5. Effective & Efficient Management and Governance
6. Integration with the Local Community

The Rugby Football Union Club Accreditation scheme aims to help all rugby clubs in England become stronger, more effective, more efficient and more enjoyable places to play rugby.
