Thanks to York RUFC

It was a lovely summer's evening and there was a large crowd that came to the club to watch the pre-season friendly, with Ripon vs York RUFC. Before the match a minutes silence was held in respect of George Topliss as he had a close relationship with both clubs.
Ripon didn't win the match, it finished 6 tries to 3, but there were a lot of positives that came out of the game and we held a good defence against a strong side. Things look promising for the start of the new season.
