Jonathan has more than 25 years of experience in financial services and specifically the management of client money. He is a fully qualified Investment Manager who can give advice to charities, individuals, trusts and pension clients. Jonathan is often quoted in the personal finance section of the Yorkshire Post. Charles Stanley is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

On a personal level, Jonathan is a true rugby man through and through. He is an RFU qualified coach, referee and pitch medic,. He has played for school, club and county and, whilst these days are now well behind him, he still actively follows Ripon RUFC and subscribes to every sports channel available to get his rugby fix on the TV! Jonathan started the junior sponsorship when his eldest son Jack was playing in the Ripon U12’s, Jack is now playing for the Rugby Medics team at Edinburgh University but played for Ripon juniors and adults when at the club.

Jonathan lives locally and is a fully trained community first responder being involved with the very first CFR scheme which was set up 15 years ago. He is married to Claire and has two other boys that both play football for Ripon Panthers. He has recently also taken on the role of Race Director for Ripon Runners, you may just see him running himself with his two dogs Billie and Wilma!!
