Ripon Under 10s rounded off a highly successful tour of Northumberland last weekend by leading out the Newcastle Falcons in front of a season high crowd of nearly 8,000 fans at Kingston Park. In what was billed as a relegation 'cup final' match against London Irish, the Ripon players were so excited to run on to the pitch, hand in hand with their Premiership hero's and make their supporting coaches and parents so very proud. Indeed, with the match being televised live on BT Sport, they've given Ripon RUFC national exposure....a season first for any Ripon team? Earlier in the weekend the U10s visited Morpeth RFC and Ponteland RFC where playing some excellent rugby they were victorious against their hosts and also a touring Malton and Norton team and local club Ryton RUFC. Thanks to all involved for a great 'Pirate' themed tour.
