Indoor training workout

After last weeks mud bath, training was held at Ripon Leisure Centre to give the pitches a break & recover.

In recent weeks we have not defended the line as well as we could have & the boys have started to run backwards to go forwards.

A warm up drill of ladders, weaving and Pick 'n' pop got the boy's hearts racing and ready for the defensive and attacking drills.

Creating the line, moving up to the attack together and looking along the line to fill in gaps were all worked on. Attacking teams worked on running straight lines and being brave to break the line.

All good fun, wrapped up with a game of Sharks 'n' squids that saw George win (again !) and a rousing chorus of 'Happy Birthday' for Kieran - thanks for the cakes Kieran !
