A Hard Fought Draw for the U15's

Ripon U15's continued their good start to the season with a hard fought draw against York at home. York scored first, catching Ripon down the blind side after a scrum on the Ripon 22 metre line. Ripon's reply was not long in coming, after a good spell of pressure, Archie Hassall beat down a defensive kick and James Willis reacted quickest to touch down the loose ball. York upped the work rate and Ripon had to work hard in defence, twice stopping York on the try line.

As the game went on Ripon enjoyed more of the ball and had several good chances,York's defence however matched Ripon's and though Charlie Britton, Lucian Wray and Mat Sutton had good runs the score ended 5-5.
