U15's Played with a Lack of Spark

A poor performance by Ripon against West Park Leeds at home. A lack of spark from too many players saw Ripon soundly beaten by five tries to one. Ripon went behind early but rallied well for a spell and should have capitalised on a string of penalties in the West Park five metre area, however they could not get over the line.

Ripon’s try was scored by Jack Baldwin who intercepted a pass to run the ball down the wing from the halfway line. Two players who did merit mention were James Willis, who worked tirelessly in both attack and defence and was given Man of the Match, and Luke Ratcliff who was rock solid at the back under the high ball and quick to counter, awarded Man of steel.
