The Tour that didnt Tour 2020

‘The tour that didn’t tour’ So the weekend of the 18th and 19th of April Ripon RUFC under 9s were supposed to be on Tour, we had a great weekend lined up for the children, coaching session with the Sale Shark community coaches, Guard of Honour for the Sale v Bristol game, match at half time on the pitch and then entry to Wilmslow Festival the following day. Tour jerseys had been printed, Batman for the kids and Robin for the coaching team and we were set for what would have been a fab weekend, the weather even played a blinder for us…………….then Covid 19 turned the world upside down and we couldn’t go, lots of disappointed children, parents and coaching staff with a desire to put on a show but with no audience.
