Age Grade Club Sponsorship Letter

Age Grade Club Sponsorship Letter

Becky Naylor28 Jan 2016 - 15:17

To all Age Grade Parents, please read this letter from Director of Sponsorship Dave Naylor, and if you can contribute to the club please get in touch.

Dear Age Grade Parent

Firstly, let me introduce myself, my name is Dave Naylor and this year I became the Director of Sponsorship at Ripon Rugby Club. I would like to personally thank all the volunteers and current sponsors at the club because without you we just couldn’t do what we do.

While writing this letter I still can’t believe the change in the adult rugby at Ripon this season with its influx of players from last year’s U17’s. For the past few years at this time of the season I would be counting points and wondering if we would escape relegation. That seems such a distant memory now, so far this season we have seen some great attacking and defending rugby which sees us 7th in the Yorkshire 2 division. The adult teams rely on the home grown players coming up through the ranks and its with thanks for your commitment to your children’s rugby that we can see such good progress.

One of the easiest ways to help Ripon Rugby Club is to show your support by using the clubhouse facilities on match days, both on Saturdays and Sundays, attending events and by using the clubhouse for functions and parties.

With the clubhouse and bar area refurbishment now completed, we look towards the player’s facilities like the changing rooms and showers, the playing surfaces and the machinery needed for its upkeep, and I’m sure you will agree with me that the outside gable ends will need to be sorted before long. The development and improvements to the club house and our facilities is an ongoing project and there is always something that needs replacing or fixing.

So as a Club we continue to have challenges to be one of the best clubs in the area, but we have many Sponsorship opportunities, such as the hoardings on the pitch side, website advertising, match day sponsorship and next year you will have the opportunity to advertise in the handbook that goes to every member. Even if you don’t have a business which is looking for a sponsorship opportunity, the club invites donations from anyone looking to help with the funding and support of the club. Alternatively, you may work for a company that would benefit from being part of Ripon Rugby Club.

So I ask you, can you help? Would you like to be associated with the club as a sponsor or maybe you can help with a donation to the club funds. Every little helps as we strive to be successful on and off the pitch. Feel free to give me a call to discuss any opportunities further.

Yours faithfully

Dave Naylor
