Selby Under 8's World Cup

After torrential rain on Saturday, everyone made a real effort turning out at Selby.
We had 24 children !! 3 teams and could have had a 4th !!
We played as 3 teams named - Wales, Canada & The Americas.
Fantastic play from all of our teams saw us end up in the semi final with our team Canada, under the watchful eye of our new (& rather successful) coach Justin Lock.
Medals for all that took part.
The weather held off and the rain was starting just as we were leaving for home.
Thank you to all of you for coming along -it was great to see everyone cheering the teams along.
