Another good win for Ripon running in five tries against Pocklington. Two tries from Jake Robinson and one from Ben Borchard got Ripon off to a flying start, though both players could have been over again only to be pulled back for a knock-on. Ripon controlled the game well with some good defence all round.
Will Langford, Elliot Brooksbank and James Willis all had stand out tackles to their names. Charlie Hynes went over for the fourth after a good run down the wing to make it 22-14 at the end of the second twenty.
Ripon pressed hard in the last period with James and Henry Calvert going close before Olly Bowett stripped the ball and ran on for the final Ripon try. Pocklington scored a third from a penalty in the last moments of the game, Ripon won 29-19.
Another good performance all round.
